Back to bless the scene, songstress Márcia has come back refreshed and bursting with inspired ideas, currently in the recording studio cheffing up fire for her upcoming offering. Márcia has been busy grooming her skills to pick up where she’s left off. The lyrical artiste is known for flexing skills and leveraging talent that runs the gamut from contemporary to modern sounds and textures, laced with varied musical influences that have shaped her as an artist to date.

Daughter of Cape-Verdean Immigrants, the songbird entered the world in Lisbon and was raised in Germany. Her music hobbyist father cultivated Márcia’s gift from a young age, nurturing her gift as she developed her songwriting skills. What started as a hobby blossomed further when she began working with producer, Stephan Nichols, on her first, self-titled LP in 2006, released later that same year. Her hits "Je T'Aime Encore", "Vida", and "Um Chance" solidified her place in the market, reaching millions of views on YouTube, establishing her spot in the Zouk/Kizomba world. Later she launched hits, including II WayZ feat. Márcia "The Heat", "Say You'll Be Mine", and "Unica" with production houses WUM P and Klasszik.

In 2010 she took some time off to dedicate to her bachelor thesis, graduating with excellence with a B.A. in Fine Arts in Spacial Design the following year. After fully realizing her second passion, the Boston-based songstress is fully prepared to conquer the music world wholeheartedly.

Tapping into her musicality to stir things up, Márcia utilizes both invigorating sounds and synthesizers. Her melancholic, and infectious melodies mesh seamlessly with expressive Kizomba + Zouk beats to churn out an impassioned and mature new project.
